About Me
Hello! I'm Sander Wijns, a passionate Applied Computer Science student at Thomas More Geel. Ever since I was young, I've been fascinated by how technology can transform everyday life. Today, I'm driven by a strong desire to create intuitive, efficient solutions that make a real difference for people and businesses.
My Background
Through my studies and personal projects I've developed a strong foundation in web development, data analysis, and IoT systems. I enjoy challenging myself by learning new frameworks and technologies, and I'm always looking for ways to improve my technical and soft skills.
Unique Hobbies
- Exploring football data and visualizations to uncover deeper tactical and statistical insights
- Learning new languages to connect with different cultures (currently studying Spanish)
My Values
I believe that curiosity, creativity, and perseverance are essential in the tech world. Whether working on a solo project or collaborating with a team, I strive to bring energy, critical thinking, and a willingness to learn to every challenge.
Ambitions
My goal is to grow into a versatile software developer or data analyst who bridges the gap between technical possibilities and user needs. I'm especially excited about working on projects that involve data-driven decision-making, automation, and user experience design. Eventually, I hope to specialize further in either backend development, data engineering, or AI-driven systems.
